Glass-Rite is a full-service new window and custom window replacement company serving the North and Central New Mexico areas, including Albuquerque and Santa Fe. We offer a wide range of vinyl, thermally broken aluminum, and wood windows. We manufacture windows in a variety of styles including horizontal sliders, picture sliders, single hung, casements, awnings, and fixed windows.
Since windows are custom made at Glass-Rite, we offer a wide variety of glass options suited for the New Mexico climate. Choose from solar control, “Low-E” glass for high performance, obscure glass for privacy, and tempered glass for safety and security. “Low-E” glass is an option that will increase the R-value of the insulated glass unit almost 40% as well as reduce the amount of ultra-violet radiation that comes into your home.
Our window professionals can advise you regarding which window is best for your home and work with you to create an installation plan that is both effective and cost efficient. At Glass-Rite, our window types include:
Glass-Rite custom vinyl replacement windows are manufactured with a highly efficient, non-conductive vinyl frame that will never need painting. The vinyl windows come in a color choice of WHITE or ALMOND, have 3/4 inch insulated glass and a 3 1/4 inch frame. These windows come in a variety of styles including single hung, double hung, slider, picture slider and fixed.
Glass-Rite thermally broken aluminum windows are made of the best aluminum alloy and then improved by separating the aluminum from inside to out using a poured polyurethane, which reduces heat loss through the frame. These maintenance-free, thermally broken windows come in BRONZE, have a 3/4 inch insulated glass, and a 2 3/4 inch frame width.
Glass-Rite sells Jeld-Wen wood clad windows that are certified by the National Fenestration Rating Council. All Jeld-Wen wood windows are made from high quality wood that won’t warp or twist, complete with top-of-the-line hardware and locks. To reduce the need for maintenance and eliminate painting, the wood windows are constructed with a metal clad exterior.
