Glass-Rite is currently working on campus at the University of New Mexico. We are replacing all the windows in the Student Residence Center Apartments, or SRC, near Johnson Field. The SRC is a 12 building co-ed apartment complex that features 71 six bedroom, two bath apartments. Groups of students request to live together in this high-demand complex because of its central location with both front and rear courtyard entrances.
The SRC had older style aluminum windows which needed an upgrade. The old windows were too hot in the summer months and too cold in the winter. They conducted too much energy and were just plain inefficient. Glass-Rite is currently installing our premium vinyl window in the apartments, which are much more energy efficient and give the modern style living complex a more updated look.
This photo shows a new Glass-Rite vinyl window installed next to an older style aluminum window that is being replaced.
Here you see one of the buildings in the complex that has all new vinyl replacement windows and in the background another building that still has the older aluminum windows.
Below you can view the attractive result of the window replacement that brought the SRC complex to a new level; both in looks as well as in energy savings.
We here at Glass-Rite were very happy to help out on campus and bring a more efficient and attractive look to the SRC buildings. Contact us today for a free no-pressure window replacement estimate or visit our showroom and see what a difference we can make for you!
